I was once a part of the Financial Services Industry.  Now I write full time. My stories and poems have appeared in a number of international literary publications including The Rumen, Sequoia Speaks, Recesses, PentaCat, Confetti, Every Day Fiction, Parcham, Blaze Vox and DoubleSpeak magazines.  

My poem, “Veins” was long listed in the Plough 2023 poetry competition. My short story “The Glimmer” was long listed in the 2023 Zeenat Haroon Rashid writing competition for women.  My free verse, “Ravaged” appears as part of an American academic publication titled “Sing Slivered Tongue: An Anthology of South Asian Women’s Poetry of Trauma” spearheaded by the English department of the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
