Venus is the hottest planet in it 
Our earth actually looks like a squished ball

But scientists are still working on making 
Magical things like that take place 

Mars, the red planet you see at night
Has a much lower gravity
That means Dad who’s 200 pounds on earth 
Will feel as light there as a summer breeze

Your stomach juices can turn into mush
A stainless steel razor blade
You’re born with 300 bones in your body
They grow and connect into 206

You share the building blocks of your life
With plants, bacteria and fungi
Daffodils, apples and bananas* are your cousins
That’s why you’re a fun-girl and fun-guy!

Clouds can weigh a million pounds
Most of the universe is invisible 
It can rain diamonds on Saturn and Jupiter
There they don’t set them in rings

Splish-splash water makes up most of your brain
That is why you laugh so easily
When you hear a joke, even when you don’t
It sure is fun to be a human being.
